Today we’ve got the pleasure of premiering the brand new clip from rising rock ’n’ rollers The Prize for their latest blitz of a single ‘Easy Way Out’, ahead of the release of their forthcoming debut 7” Wrong Side Of Town next month.
A second taste of their Wrong Side Of Town 7" which is set to drop on September 2nd via Anti Fade, ‘Easy Way Out’ finds The Prize serving up another dose of their rousing punk-tinged power-pop. It’s a little more rock ’n’ roll than the title track which dropped a few weeks ago and was loaded with plenty of power-pop colour, but that’s not to say this one lacks any charisma - instead, at just two minutes long, it comes swinging with roaring hooks, a galloping groove and an absolutely killer guitar solo.
The new clip, which has been created by the band across their winning streak of recent shows, captures The Prize is their natural element while doubling as an important reminder of how electric this band is onstage. Good news for listeners though - you can catch them launching the new record on Saturday October 1st at The Curtin in Melbourne or Friday October 28th at the Botany View Hotel in Sydney.
