Following the release of Sungai Mix 1 last month, a new mixtape released through Cease and Desist Records that documents the alternative music cultures of Asia between ’64 and ’81, we caught up with curator/researcher/HEXDEBT bassist Isobel D’Cruz to learn a little more about the compilation and Asia’s early counter-culture.
